Reload Logistics is a young and dynamic company recognized as a leading freight forwarder across Southern Africa. As part of our strategic commercial restructuring, we are introducing dedicated Trade Lane Managers to drive corridor-specific growth and product development.
This Dubai-based role offers a unique opportunity for a commercially driven logistics professional to lead the development of transport products across key Southern African trade lanes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, deep market insight, and a proven ability to collaborate across commercial and operational teams.
Product Development:
Build and enhance transport solutions tailored to specific trade lanes (corridors), aligned with Reload’s strategic goals.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to inform product positioning and pricing strategies.
GP & Market Share Growth: Drive common gross profit and market share growth across assigned corridors through targeted initiatives and client engagement.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Buyers, Key Account Managers, and Tender Specialists to ensure product alignment and execution.
Route-Level Accountability: Own performance metrics at the corridor level, ensuring visibility and accountability for results.
Client Engagement: Support commercial teams in presenting tailored transport solutions to clients, enhancing value proposition and conversion rates.
Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular updates on product performance, market conditions, and strategic opportunities to the Sales Director.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in product delivery, pricing models, and internal coordination.
Role Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding, transport product development, or commercial logistics roles.
Strong understanding of Southern African trade lanes and transport modalities.
Proven ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in commercial reporting and performance tracking tools.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
