Role Overview
We're looking for an IT Technical Support professional to play a key role in supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure and end user environment. The role involves deploying and maintaining IT equipment and software for both end users and office operations, while working closely with IT network and system engineers to ensure smooth system functionality.
Key Responsibilities
a) End-User IT Maintenance
Provide technical support for end-user hardware and software, ensuring systems meet required standards.
Escalate support requests when needed and keep users updated on progress.
Log tickets and maintain accurate records in the helpdesk system.
Deploy, install, and configure PCs, operating systems, and software.
Ensure systems are updated with necessary security patches.
Maintain a professional and timely response to all users.
Take on additional tasks as required within the scope of the role.
b) Monitoring, Tracking & Documentation
Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software.
Assist in creating and updating technical documentation and procedures.
Ensure documentation is shared and accessible to users.
Support additional duties or training as required.
